Nick Stone is an indie rock artist with a soulful twist, blending folk and indie rock with a hint of Western charm. Backing Nick are The Gems, a group made up currently of his dear friends John Andrew and Tanner Reid harmonizing on electric guitars, Sam Whitelaw on drums, and Nate Fromson on bass. Other note able contributors are Dani Black ( singer ), (Benny Topher ) as featured artist, plus Colton Legree ( Former co-write and keys player) and Thomas Riedl ( Former Drummer ) Who feature in the Cartoon series.

Inspired by rock and roll legends, classic country and folk artists, and the sweet harmonies of '50s and '60s doo-wop, their music transcends genres and resonates deeply with listeners. Born out of a desire to create something unique and captivating, Nick's heartfelt melodies and emotive storytelling aim to leave a lasting impact on the hearts of those who embark on his soul-stirring musical journey.

Nick started making music back in 2021 releasing his first EP the Stone EP. At that time he was doing all the work solo. But that didn’t last long. He formed the first line up and started playing gigs. Two years and a few lineups later, I joined the band. By this time Colton Legree had joined as a co-write with Nick. The duo would make songs like Cinnamon, Foggy lights, I am and Back to Basics. On April 2024, we both released our first album and went on our first tour, which took us all around Canada from Vancouver, BC to Montreal, QB. Currently we are planning a tour in the Summer for the West coast of Canada.

Since in November 2023, I have been Co-lead guitarist for Nick Stone and the Gems. I have contributed to over half of the songs as both a guitarist and writer. I also am the creator of the Nick Stone Cartoon which is featured on this website.
